Simple, Homemade Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour

  • 1 1/2 cups of lukewarm water

  • 1 package active dry yeast

  • 2 tbsp. olive oil

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. With a stand mixer, mix together ingredients, adding a little water until dough is as it should be. The dough should not be dry or too wet and tacky.

  2. Remove dough from mixer, put on very clean surface and cover with a hot, damp towel. Let dough rise for 3 hours.

  3. Make into dough balls and let sit for 48 hours in the refrigerator

  4. Let thaw to room temperature and use or freeze for future use.

  • 1 16 oz can of tomato puree

  • 1 level tbsp. black pepper

  • 1 tsp. salt
