Is Housewarmings going out of business?

No. Housewarmings is moving, not closing. We are relocating to a new and improved showroom and will continue serving Lexington and Central Kentucky as we have since 2004. The sale exists so we relocate less merchandise.

Where is the new Housewarmings showroom?

The new Housewarmings showroom is at 522 Codell Drive, Lexington, KY 40509, roughly a two-minute drive from the current store and expected to open in mid-September 2026. Until the move is complete on September 18, everything continues at 2320 Palumbo Drive, Suite 150, Lexington, KY 40509.

Is this closeout merchandise or damaged goods?

It is our actual showroom inventory, including the Lloyd Flanders, Summer Classics, Treasure Garden, Big Green Egg and hearth brands we have always carried. Floor models and displays are sold as shown and may have normal showroom wear, which is why they carry the deepest savings. Boxed items are new stock.

Do manufacturer warranties still apply during the moving sale?

Yes. Manufacturer warranties carry over on warrantied products the same as any other purchase. Coverage terms vary by brand and by whether an item is a floor model, so ask your salesperson about the specific piece.

Can I still place a special order during the moving sale?

Yes. Special orders and design consultations continue as normal. Moving sale pricing applies to showroom merchandise rather than to new special orders.

Do I have to take my purchase home the same day?

No. Delivery is available and scheduled at the register. All merchandise must be picked up or delivered before Housewarmings is out of the current location on September 18, so buying earlier allows more flexible scheduling.

When is the best day to shop the Housewarmings moving sale?

For selection, come the first weekend beginning Saturday, August 1, since floor models are one of a kind. For the deepest discounts, later in the sale is cheaper but selection is limited to what remains.
